Cleaner job summary

The Howard School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Cleaner to join the Premises Department, to start from September 2025.

We’re seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our school team, helping to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment where pupils and staff can thrive every day.

This is a part-time, permanent role, Term-time only plus 6 weeks, paid on the NJC PayScale E2 points 2-3 (FTE £24,413.00 - £24,796.00 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £17,531.31 - £17,806.34 per annum).

The working pattern will consist of 27.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 3pm-8.30pm.
