The Academy Council of this high achieving and oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy is looking to appoint two self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic cleaners to join their supportive and positive team.
The postholders will be responsible for cleaning designated areas within the school to ensure they are maintained to a clean and hygienic standard. Protective clothing will be provided.
What are we looking for?
The post holders will:
- Have a positive and flexible approach, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate high personal standards and expectations.
- Be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleaning throughout the school during term time, ensuring the cleanliness of a designated area.
- Carry out cleaning duties to a consistent standard, including wiping, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning toilets.
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements at all times, including the safe use and storage of cleaning materials in accordance with risk assessments.
The post includes a substantial amount of lifting, bending and stretching.
