Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, safe and welcoming environments? Do you want to make a real difference to the daily experience of students and staff?

The Role

Watling Academy and Watling Primary School (both located in Whitehouse, Milton Keynes) are seeking reliable and dedicated Cleaners to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our sites. You will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our school community by ensuring that learning environments are clean, safe and well-presented.

As part of the site team, you will clean a range of areas including classrooms, corridors, communal spaces and washroom facilities. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces and touchpoints, and safely disposing of waste. You will also replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet tissue, and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Cleaning Supervisor.

This role requires someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work and has a strong attention to detail. You will be able to work independently, follow cleaning schedules effectively, and adhere to health and safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

We offer flexibility to suit different lifestyles, with various part-time shift patterns available Monday to Friday, including:

  • Morning shifts: 6:30am - 8:30am
  • Afternoon shifts: 3:30pm - 5:30pm or 3:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Evening shifts: 5:00pm - 8:00pm

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to a positive and safe school environment every day.
