We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Cleaner/Domestic Assistant to join at our school in Great Yarmouth, Bure Park Specialist Academy.

Bure Park Specialist Academy is a residential special school for boys in the age range 6 - 16 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We have an ofsted rating as good and our residential provision is rated outstanding. The school teaches pupils from primary through to secondary.

Our school shares the vision of our sponsor, the Broad Horizons Education Trust, that improving the life chances of all pupils has to be at the heart of all we do. To achieve this Broad Horizons firmly believes in valuing and championing all members of staff employed throughout the trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to be part of a highly motivated exceptional team who strive to establish the highest standards and who are instrumental in ensuring that we change children’s lives. The role of Cleaner/Domestic Assistant is a key role in providing basic needs to the children in our care.

Successful applicants will be required to work in a varied and interesting environment. Personal qualities are also of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to display enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility and reliability. They must also have the ability to work well in a small team but also be able to work independently. The ability to sew would be advantageous.

Applicants should have very good interpersonal skills; be self motivated, conscientious, resilient and hardworking.

Previous experience of working in a school would be preferable but not essential.
