Cleaning Assistant
Contract: Hours 2 - 6 pm Monday to Friday (20 hours a week), 38 weeks a year (Term time)
Salary: H1 - Actual salary (£11,036-£11,385)

Responsible To: Cleaning Manager
We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Assistant to carry out cleaning duties around the school.
Specific Duties
Assisting in general cleaning duties and holiday cleaning
Vacuuming and cleaning floors including the use of powered equipment
Dusting and polishing furniture and other surfaces
Cleaning walls and other paintwork, tiling and mirrors
Emptying and cleaning waste bins
Cleaning toilets, sinks and basins
Keeping cleaning cupboards tidy and spotless
Cleaning of equipment
Person Specification:
Relevant cleaning experience required
Flexibility with working hours and the ability to work in a team
Understanding the needs of children and some experience of working in a school setting (desirable)
Knowledge of H&S (desirable)
Ability to work additional hours during school holidays would be advantageous
