Location: Filey School

Contract: Permanent

Hours/working pattern: Part time, 17.5 hours per week Monday – Friday – 2.30pm - 6pm

Salary/hourly rate: Grade CD2 £12.65 - £13.05 per hour. SCP 4-6 £24,404 - £25,183 pro rata per annum. Actual £11,542.4 - £11,910.88. Pay award pending.

Our Opportunity

We have a vacancy for a reliable and committed individual to work within our existing team to oversee the school cleaning staff. You must be approachable, and motivational with a can-do attitude and be capable of working as part of a team as well as working alone.

You will need to have excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and students.

Your responsibilities will include:

Line Manage the cleaning staff.

Store equipment and products safely

Carry out inspections on school buildings to identify cleaning requirements.

Oversee cleaning budget.

Carry out cleaning duties around the school.

Participate in the training, development, and performance management processes within the school.
