Start the new academic year working with us at our ‘Outstanding’ rated nursery in the office in Cromer (Ofsted November 2022). If you are interested and wonder if this could be for you we would love you to get in touch and come and visit us so you can see our Nursery ‘in action’. Suffield Park Nursery are looking forward to welcoming a Clerical Assistant to our friendly and motivated team. The successful applicant will work in our Nursery office alongside our experienced Finance and Administrative Officer and the Nursery Manager. 

The post will be for 15 hours each week. We would like the successful applicant to work 7.5 hours each day (8am-4pm- Thursday and Friday), hours/days could be negotiated for the right applicant. The position is on a term time only basis.

We would like the successful applicant to start at the Nursery in September 2025. The role is temporary until July 2026 in the first instance to give us the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of this role. 

Ensuring the very best outcomes for all children at Suffield Park Nursery is our priority and the staff team are committed to ensuring that they have a happy and inspiring experience with us. The motivation and ability to work as part of a professional, successful and friendly staff team to improve outcomes for children and their families is essential. 

The successful applicant will have excellent spoken and written communication skills with confidence to relate to children, families and professionals. They will be well-organised, reliable and need a good sense of humour! Experience of working in an office and/or Early Years environment would be highly beneficial. An ability to work efficiently and follow the Nursery policies and procedures is essential with particular regard to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
