Clerk to the Local Governing Body
Based from: Meavy CofE Primary School, Lady Modiford’s CofE Primary School and some home working
Contract Term: Part time, Permanent
Salary: SC4 SCP 10-13 from £13.24 an hour. Starting salary £2,752 (£25,545 FTE)
Hours: 4 ½ hours per week. 40 weeks per year

We are seeking to recruit a professional and enthusiastic person who has effective ICT skills, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, along with initiative and enthusiasm. Supported and trained by the Trust, you will provide support to the governing body based on the Trust Scheme of Governance. You’ll be given opportunities to seek professional training, including a qualification in Professional Clerking. You’ll have relevant experience and transferable skills to provide an efficient and professional service to a Local Governing Body, including minute taking, formation of agendas, circulation of papers and providing advice and guidance on procedural matters.
