What skills and experience we're looking for

Education and Qualifications

An undergraduate degree

Qualifications in English and maths equivalent to GCSE Grade 4/C/Level 2

Qualification or accreditation in marketing or journalism

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent copywriting and communication skills

Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail

An excellent standard of written English

Comfortable working across diverse stakeholders, including young people and external partners

Knowledge of further education or creative industries

Experience

SEO writing or link-building experience

Proven experience in marketing, communications, PR or community management

Experience of leading high profile events

Understanding of CMS platforms for website content and updates

Familiarity with LinkedIn, Mailchimp and digital outreach best practices

Commitment

High professional standards and personal integrity, with high expectations of self and others

Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, to deliver shared outputs
