Complex Needs Cover Supervisor and Lead LSA job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Complex Needs Cover Supervisor and Lead LSA to join our thriving, successful and happy school.
Due to the changing needs of our children and the school, we are looking to develop our provision and the successful candidates will be able to contribute to its development. We are seeking to appoint a Complex Needs Cover Supervisor and Lead LSA for our Complex Needs team. The ideal candidate must have experience of working with children with Complex Needs, Communication and Interaction difficulties and supporting learning across the curriculum. Additional training and support will be made available to the successful candidates.
The successful applicants will be:
- an outstanding teaching assistant;
- committed to providing high quality provision;
- excellent communication and organisational skills;
- able to work on their own initiative and to follow a lead;
- creative in finding solutions and resolving issues;
- reflective and be able to review and improve provision;
- curious and fascinated by how children learn;
- willing to contribute to the school as a whole community and help to improve it
- able to support other staff and lead on key strategies and interventions;
- a dedicated, supportive and considerate colleague;
- follow policies and guidelines;
- uphold professionalism in all duties.
The successful applicant will have:
- experience working with children with Complex Needs and Communication and Interaction difficulties;
- experience working with children with complex or challenging behaviour;
- experience of supporting within the national curriculum and curriculum interventions.
