Complex Needs Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for a Complex Needs Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support our young people.

Your opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Complex Needs HLTA to work within our high performing Academy working 38 weeks per year. This is an ideal position for a highly experienced and specialist Teaching Assistant with substantial experience working with students with a variety of Special Educational Needs in the classroom and a passion for improving the outcomes of students with SEN. We would welcome applications from experienced practitioners who are looking to expand their knowledge and experience of SEN with a view to establishing a career in SEN.

In the first instance, this is a fixed term role for twelve months from the 1st September 2020. About Harris City Academy Crystal Palace

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace opened as Harris CTC in 1990 and converted to an Academy in September 2007. The Academy is a mixed school for 1,300 students aged 11-18 recruiting students from Croydon, Bromley, Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth. The Academy has twice been judged to be outstanding by Ofsted, with the most recent inspection judging the school to be outstanding in every aspect. Student progress is in the top 3% nationally.
