Cook in Charge
We are looking for a hardworking and committed person to run our busy 0 - 5 provision school kitchen. We want somebody who can continue to develop our very high standards of catering for our smallest members of the Manor Wood community, The successful candidate would be providing meals for breakfast, snack, lunch, and tea for our Baby Nest provision (6 months old to 2 years old), 2 year old nursery provision, our before school club and our after school club whilst maintaining a kitchen to the very highest of standards. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking member of staff who can manage all aspects of a busy catering function.
We require a positive person, who can communicate well with all children and staff and have a clear vision for the kitchen to work sustainably. We want somebody who cares about the children and will join in with all special events. We need someone who can work under pressure. We want someone who is committed to the eco-values of the school and can work with us to minimise waste.
Manor Wood Primary School offers a high standard of childcare and education provision and this post is directly employed by the governors of the school.
