St Lawrence School, Horncastle.

Permanent position - 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Grade 5 - £27,254. (FTE)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our catering team across the Trust. To be responsible for the school kitchen, the preparation and cooking of meals including preparation of menus and supervision of staff.

Applicants should have a passion and energy for being part of a team providing freshly prepared meals for our students each day. The applicant should hold an NVQ 2 in Food preparation and relevant experience of working in a busy kitchen cooking for large numbers of people. Experience in a school catering environment is preferred.

Welcome to St Lawrence School in Horncastle.

At St Lawrence we meet our students at their point of need creating a flexible and personalised curriculum based around 3 distinct pathways ensuring regular opportunities for social interaction opportunities with their peer group.

The school positively supports students aged 5 to 16 with a wide range of additional needs. All of our children and young people have an Education Health Care Plan in place.

All students are supported to access visual timetables and schedules as needed to support them to understand expectations and to reduce anxiety.
