🍳 Cookery Club Lead - After School Role

Start Date: Thursday, 6th November 2025
Time: Every Thursday, 15:10 - 16:45
Location: Heyford Park School , 74 Camp Road, Upper Heyford, OX25 5HD

We are seeking a passionate and organised individual to lead our Cookery Club for students. This weekly after-school club is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds with the joy of cooking, healthy eating, and kitchen creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging cooking sessions suitable for children.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic environment in line with school and food safety policies.
  • Write and maintain suitable risk assessments for all activities and ingredients used.
  • Encourage teamwork, creativity, and confidence in the kitchen.
  • Manage ingredients, equipment, and clean-up after sessions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in cooking or food preparation (professional or personal).
  • Enjoy working with children and supporting their learning.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear and appropriate risk assessments.
  • Food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain one).
