Counsellor job summary

The University of Kent Academies Trust (UKAT) is looking for a qualified counsellor to join our team and provide a professional, confidential counselling service for students.

Working closely with the Inclusion team, the school counsellor will play a key role in supporting students' wellbeing and demonstrating excellence in counselling practice.

This is a 15-hour-per-week, term-time-only role and based at Chatham Grammar. However, as a UKAT Counsellor, you may occasionally be required to work at our sister school, Brompton Academy.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Counselling, be BACP accredited and registered (or equivalent), and be committed to delivering high-quality, school-based mental health support.
