Work where it matters most, achieve what matters more

We are seeking to recruit a cover supervisor on a part time basis to work with departmental teams and supervise students in the absence of teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students’ learning and development.

The post holder will supervise whole classes ensuring students remain on task and complete work set by their teacher, presenting and delivering quality lessons to students in a way that represents the academy's ethos on teaching and learning. The successful applicant will be confident, organised and enthusiastic about working with young people. You will have strong communication skills and will be able to deliver cover lessons to students across the age and ability range. You will be passionate about enthusing and engaging our students, to encourage and motivate them to learn, establishing good professional working relationships with staff and students.

This role is being offered on a part time basis of 17.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 inset days (39 working weeks per year).

The post may suit someone considering a future in teaching or someone looking for a new and exciting challenge.
