Cover Supervisor job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to add to our team of Cover Supervisors working across the Academy. No two days will be the same as you will work with a variety of different year groups and across a range of subjects delivering cover lessons to students. This is a hugely rewarding role.
The primary purpose of the role is to support and supervise students in whole-class groups, providing them with an effective learning environment during short term teacher absences.
We believe that schools are most successful when they are at the heart of their community and we work closely with local families and organisations to ensure that Farnborough continues to be a place where children are celebrated, challenged, and supported every step of the way. We have a modern building with fabulous sport, technology, art and science facilities. However, the building is not what makes Farnborough special - it’s our community. Therefore, we urge you to pay us a visit. We love showing people around and sharing our story. If you would like to discuss this role further, please contact Natalie Jones, Office Manager on njones@farnboroughspencer.org.uk
Children, parents and staff want to be here because it is a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment where both staff and students flourish. We celebrate diversity, achievement, and community, making our school a truly happy and inspiring place to be. Recognised as a beacon of best practice in Inclusion and SEND, we are deeply committed to helping every child achieve their very best. Staff are seen as golden threads - vital connections in each student’s journey - who help unlock potential and raise aspirations. With a strong focus on improving outcomes and an extensive CPD programme, we empower our team to grow, lead, and make a real difference every day. We are Proud and wear Gold uniform to signify our ambition.
Early application is strongly encouraged as we reserve the right to interview and close the advert ahead of the closing date.
Spencer Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and young people. Therefore, we expect everyone to share this commitment.
