Contract: Permanent, Part Time (33.33 hours per week, and Term Time only (39 weeks)

Monday to Friday – 08.15am-3.25pm with a 20 minute unpaid lunch/20 minute unpaid break)

Job Overview

We are looking for a positive and adaptable part time Cover Supervisor to join Lawn Manor Academy on a permanent basis.

The main job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Covering teachers, tutors, mentors, and teaching assistants as required.
  • Invigilating examinations.
  • Being part of the duty team, including lunchtime supervision of pupils when necessary.
  • Supporting the school’s inclusion centre.
  • Mentoring pupils, both individually and in small groups as part of the school mentoring process.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Have 5 GCSE’s grade A-C, including Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Be willing to undertake ongoing training/update skills, including completing NVQ.
  • Demonstrate a track record of personal progression, alongside the ability to raise standards/achievements in others.
