We are looking for a Cover Supervisor (3 days per week) to join our team here at Nottingham Academy, Secondary!
The role:
The successful post holder will be required to cover classes in the absence of the teacher including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time. They will work alongside teachers to plan and teach exciting and engaging learning opportunities.
You will be able to demonstrate a range of teaching and behavioural management techniques, which facilitate a learning experience that provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve high standards.
To be successful you will possess:
- excellent communication skills at all levels
- the ability to engage constructively with, and relate to, a wide range of young people from different backgrounds
- the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
