We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a key role in supporting high-quality learning across the school. You will work closely with our teaching staff to deliver prepared lessons, support pupils’ learning and help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

What you’ll be doing

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver prepared lessons to classes when teachers are absent

  • Support pupils in their learning both in the classroom and in small groups

  • Provide helpful feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and engagement

  • Help maintain positive behaviour and a calm learning environment

  • Prepare and organise learning resources

  • Work closely with staff to support the wider life of the school

  • Is confident leading a class and communicating with pupils

  • Can build positive relationships with children and staff

  • Is organised, calm and adaptable in a busy school environment

  • Brings energy, creativity and initiative to their work

  • Is passionate about helping children develop confidence and succeed
