What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you someone who loves working with young people and making a difference in their learning journey?

Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? If so, we want YOU to be our next Cover Supervisor!

This is an exciting opportunity to step into the classroom and support students, ensuring they stay on track with their learning, even when their regular teacher is away. Whether you’re an experienced cover supervisor or someone looking to gain teaching experience, we want to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

  • Supervising classes: You'll take the reins when the teacher is away, following pre-prepared lesson plans and keeping things running smoothly.
  • Supporting students: Provide guidance to help them work through tasks, adjusting your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Boosting progress: Help students make strides in literacy and numeracy, and make sure their learning is always moving forward.
  • Team player: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to keep track of student progress and make sure everyone is reaching their potential.

What will you need to succeed?

  • A passion for teaching and learning: Whether you’re experienced or new to this, if you have a love for helping students grow, you’ll fit right in.
  • A positive attitude and energy: You’ll be the person who keeps things fun and engaging for our students while maintaining high standards.

This is more than just a job - it’s a chance to shape the next generation of learners, build valuable experience, and work in a supportive, vibrant school environment.
