  • Establishing positive relationships with pupils, promoting inclusion, respect, and responsibility.
  • Supporting the wider school by covering form time, seclusion, and duties when needed.
  • Working with the Cover Manager to organise staff absence cover and liaising with supply agencies.
  • Assisting with administrative support, invigilation, and whole-school activities as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in education, gain classroom experience, and make a real impact on young people’s lives.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience of using ICT applications (e.g. Word, Excel, email, databases).
  • The ability to manage pupils in a classroom setting.

Experience of working in an educational environment, knowledge of SIMS, and an understanding of statutory attendance policies would be an advantage.

Why Join Us?

  • A welcoming and supportive school community.
  • Access to high-quality CPD through the Consilium Centre for Professional Learning.
  • Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • 34 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for term-time staff).
