Permanent contract 37.5 hours per week term time only plus training days (39 weeks)

Northampton Academy is currently looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and resilient individual who will provide strong support and assistance to staff and students across the whole academy.

You will be expected to present pre-prepared work to groups of students. This will normally happen in the absence of the class teacher. The post will also include other supervisory duties and administrative tasks.

You will be extremely organised, focussed and have a calm and friendly approach. You will have great patience and empathy along with excellent interpersonal skills, as this role involves dealing with students, staff and colleagues within the academy. You will enjoy working with young people and have experience of working with them. You can work independently but be able to judge when to ask for help and support.
