We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor with strong literacy and numeracy skills and a professional approach to work under the guidance of teaching staff. The successful candidate will support pupils in and out of the classroom, including the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. In addition, the appointee will be expected to undertake administrative duties, and support break and lunchtime duties in school. You will have:

· Minimum GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) and be confident and competent in using day-to-day IT

· Experience of working in a school environment

· Confident in delivering prepared lessons

· The ability to motivate pupils and a desire to make a positive contribution to their education

· The ability to manage challenging behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy

· A commitment to the ethos of the school

We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in English or Maths.
