What skills and experience we're looking for
The school requires a Cover Supervisor to join our existing team. The role involves being responsible for the supervision of students during lessons in the absence of the teacher, including explaining the work set by the teacher to the students, taking class registers, ensuring seating plans are adhered to along with high standards of punctuality, personal appearance and behaviour in the classroom.
Applicants need to already have some experience of working with young people, ideally gained in an education setting.
The successful postholder will be a required to undertake lunchtime supervision and a First Aid course as set by the school, renewing the qualification/training as required.

Hours of work: 8.30am – 3.10pm, Monday – Friday (Term time, including INSET days)
Salary Scale Grade G point 8 – 20, £24,702 – £30,296 pro rata. Actual salary per annum is £17,905 - £21,959.

Cirencester Kingshill School, opened in 1976, as a purpose built 11-16 co-educational comprehensive. It is situated on the south east side of Cirencester approximately one mile from the centre, on a spacious site bordering open countryside. The school became an Academy in August 2011.
