Cover Supervisor and HLTA job summary
Salary: NJC Grade D (Cover Supervisor): £25,992 - £27,711 FTE and NJC Grade E (HLTA): £29,572 to £32,654 FTE (both contracts will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Working Pattern: These are two permanent roles to be fulfilled by one individual, working a total of 32.5 hours per week (Cover Supervisor 15 hours per week, HLTA 17.5 hours per week), 39 weeks per year

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill both roles of Cover Supervisor and HLTA to join our team in September 2025.
Roundswell Community Primary Academy is a growing school, we opened our doors in September 2020 to Nursery and Reception pupils. We currently have children in Nursery to Year 4, extending to Year 5 in September. With an internationally minded curriculum and a vision to deliver outstanding education, the school will introduce children to a world of opportunity. Through engaging pupils in an exciting, internationally-minded curriculum, we will enable children to have a modern outlook on the world, achieve high standards of learning and be secondary-ready. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor and HLTA to join our experienced and friendly team and provide support and quality learning experiences for our children. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, demonstrate the ability to support learning and nurture children's wellbeing, a sense of commitment, a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is a must! This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
