What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a cover supervisor to join our permanent cover team in the school. This post is a busy and rewarding one, providing lesson cover for students across all subjects when their teacher is absent. The post requires someone who is confident, consistent and cares about students and their learning.

We have a strong team and strong policies and processes across the school that will support a colleague who may have experienced or may be new to the role. The key attribute required is a positive attitude and a passion to make a positive impact on students lives.

This post could be ideal for someone who is considering training to teach in the longer term, providing in school experience that would support training pathways. We are actively engaged in supportive trainees and will be developing provision in the new Apprentice Teacher programmes as they become available.
