Cover Supervisor job summary
We are seeking to appoint a new Part Time Cover Supervisor to join our existing Cover Supervisor Team from 2 September 2025, subject to the necessary employment checks and any notice period required. The successful applicant will deliver pre-planned learning materials to pupils in the classroom, covering for absent colleagues. Cover Supervisors are responsible for management of classroom behaviour during these periods. They are not responsible for planning, assessment and marking of pupil work. If not required for cover lessons, Cover Supervisors assist teaching staff by acting as classroom assistants or providing administrative assistance. The successful applicant will work term time only for 24 hours per week, 6 hours per day, working from 8.45am - 3.45pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with an unpaid morning and lunch break, covering up to 5 one hour lessons per day.
