Further details about the role
You will be supervising classes in the absence of their subject teacher and providing support to departmental colleagues and teams.
We are looking for an individual who has a good standard of education (a qualification in numeracy and literacy is preferred) as you will be working with classes of students to complete the work set by the teacher. Previous experience of working with young people is desirable, along with the ability to complete administrative duties such as recording attendance and communicating with colleagues across the school.
You will work from8:25AM to 3:30PMMonday to Fridayduring the school term. You will also be paid for an additional31.25 hours per year,which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours.
Your actual salary will be£15,938.50 per annumand this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. This means that you willstillbe paid across the 13 weeks’ (on average) of school holiday.
