Salary: Grade 5 – based on full-time equivalent of £24,629 - £25,779 p.a.
Actual Annual Salary: £19,351 - £20,210 – term time only – Based on full time

Cover Supervisor – A Stepping Stone into Teaching

We’re looking for someone who:
- Is confident and proactive in supporting students’ academic progress and personal development
- Has a strong presence in the classroom with solid behaviour management skills
- Brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a collaborative mindset to the team
- Is committed to helping deliver a high-quality learning environment
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising whole classes during teacher absences, delivering work set by the regular class teacher
- Maintaining a focused and supportive atmosphere to help students stay on task
- Responding to any immediate issues in line with school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Collecting completed assignments and returning materials to the appropriate teacher
- Assisting as a Teaching Assistant when cover is not needed, supporting students across the curriculum
