What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor who wants to join an experienced, supportive, committed team of like-minded colleagues and make a real difference with our young people. The post entails covering lessons when teachers are absent and assisting with the development of learning resources for such lessons. The role is busy and varied, you will work across many different subject areas within our academy. The role also provides support and cover within our behaviour team and involves working with groups of students to improve their attitude to learning. A background in coaching, sports or other practical disciplines would be advantageous.

The team is well-established and highly supportive of one another. Led by a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the cover team works collaboratively, always putting the needs of our students at the forefront of what we do. The cover team supports a range of extra-curricular activities each day, engaging positively with students and other colleagues from various faculties.
