City Academy Norwich is a dynamic, nurturing learning community with the highest expectations and aspirations for our students and staff. We strive to ensure that every child, irrespective of their starting point, receives an excellent education enabling them to become the best version of themselves. We are committed to ensuring all our students succeed and embrace the opportunities and experiences available to them.

City Academy Norwich is part of the Sapientia Education Trust, working together to build a highly successful community Academy for all our students.

THE ROLE

At City Academy Norwich we recognise the value and worth of those in our charge and seek to uphold standards of the highest quality; which reinforce the dignity and respect of the individual in an atmosphere which is warm, caring, stimulating, accepting and free from all forms of prejudice and discrimination.

In saying this, no effort is spared to achieve a true partnership between school, parents/carers, and authorities, which will promote the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of our children and young people in order that they may achieve their full potential.

City Academy Norwich seeks to appoint a pro-active and enthusiastic Learning and Behaviour Cover Supervisor to join us to take responsibility for groups or classes of students in the short-term absence of their usual teacher. This role will also involve supervising and supporting students in the Remove Room.

This is an opportunity to join a welcoming staff team in an aspirational school and to develop classroom-based experience for those thinking of a potential career in teaching. Previous post holders have gone on to train and achieve QTS and have found the Cover Supervisor role invaluable in helping them along their career paths.

City Academy Norwich is a member of the Sapientia Education Trust (SET).
