Cover Supervisor & Learning Mentor job summary
The Rowans AP Academy is seeking to appoint a highly effective Cover Supervisor & Learning Mentor, to start from 28th August 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment, and providing support to students and teachers alike. This role offers the chance to deepen learning support experience in education, contribute meaningfully to student progress, and be an integral part of a supportive and dedicated school community.
This is a part time (33 hours per week), fixed term role, Term Time Only +1 week, paid based on the NJC pay scale C1 point 6-19 (actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis £19,318 - £23,832 - FTE £25,183 - £31,067), as well as an additional SEN Allowance of £1,491 per annum.
The working pattern for this position will consist of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:25-15:25, and Wednesday 8:25-15:55, with a 30-minute unpaid break. This is a fixed term position for one academic year, until July 2026.
