We have a great opportunity for an amazing, super organised and efficient person to support our children through delivering planned lessons in the role of Cover Supervisor.

Your opportunity

Our Cover Supervisors really are valued members of our team. The Cover Supervisor will support with the smooth operation of the school through delivering planned lessons. Responsibilities include delivering lessons based on pre-prepared work to a class, managing the classroom environment to promote good behaviour for learning, and liaising with teaching colleagues on their return to promote good continuity for the children.

Adaptability, resilience and the ability to think on your feet are essential in this varied and evolving role, as will an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

We are looking for individuals that are passionate, enthusiastic and committed to a career within education.

The ideal candidate will have the skills to:

  • Work well as part of a team, as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.

The Details

Start Date: Jan 2026

FTE Salary: GLF Associate 3 £25,001 - £25,469

Pro-rata (actual): £19,417 - £19,780

Hours: 32.5hrs per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only).

Contract: Permanent
