Loreto High School is seeking a passionate teacher to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students and contribute to the development of the Quality of Education within a supportive department focused on improving teaching practice and student outcomes.

The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a productive and engaging learning environment. You will be responsible for supervising classes, ensuring students remain focused on their studies, and delivering pre-prepared lesson plans while upholding the school's classroom environment. Additionally, you will provide support to students by answering their questions and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Collaboration with teaching staff is key to maintaining school standards and ensuring a seamless educational experience for all students.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills; clear and assertive when delivering lesson plans.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of different ages and abilities; capable of adjusting to different subjects and student needs.
  • Empathy & Supportiveness: Encouraging students while reinforcing expectations
