Are you an adaptable, patient, and empathetic individual with experience working with young people? Do you have a passion for creating a positive learning environment? If so, we'd like you to join us at Maltings Academy.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a calm and focused atmosphere in classrooms during planned and unplanned teacher absences. You will deliver prepared lesson materials, support students with their work, and manage behaviour in line with the academy's behaviour policy. You will also provide additional support to students with SEND, liaising with the SENDCO and form tutors where necessary. You will also have wider academy duties such as supervising students during breaks and lunchtimes when required

In Maltings Academy
Maltings is a 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011. There are excellent transport links to London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides.
