Hours: 36 hrs per week Monday - Friday 08:30hrs - 16:00hrs ( plus 1 hr CPD)

Polam Hall School wishes to appoint enthusiastic and experienced individuals to the following post:

Cover Supervisor ( 2 posts)

To supervise the classroom for the provision of teaching in both primary and secondary phases of the school, for whole classes and select groups.

To cover tutor time in the absence of a scheduled teacher.

Assist teachers/SEND Team and act as part of the classroom support team when required.

Assist with trips or off-site activities.

Break and gate duties as and when required.

Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have experience of managing pupils in a classroom based setting; have strong behaviour management skills and a good overview of teaching and learning. Be highly motivated and able to swap between age groups, abilities, needs and subject matter with ease.
