Job Title: Cover Supervisor

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting students in their learning during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will facilitate a calm and productive classroom environment, ensuring pupils are engaged and supported in completing the work set by their teacher. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for education and a desire to inspire young people.

Key Duties Include:

  • Supervising classes and delivering pre-set work in the absence of a teacher

  • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining classroom discipline

  • Supporting students to stay on task and achieve their best

  • Assisting with extra-curricular activities, events and wider school life

  • Providing supervision during breaks, lunchtimes and school events

What We’re Looking For:

  • A commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos and values of our school

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills

  • The ability to manage a classroom effectively and with confidence

  • Experience working with young people (desirable)
