What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you a self motivated, confident and skilled individual who is looking to make a difference to the education of young people aged 11-18 and support the schools teaching and learning? Do you have a can-do flexible approach to working, high standards and a desire to support the very best outcomes for the students in your care. Could you be a Cover Supervisor in our excellent school?
We are currently recruiting for two Cover Supervisors to join our dedicated team of support staff.
The Postholders will cover and supervise lessons. They will support teaching in the absence of the class teacher by registering pupils and ensuring that pupils understand the instructions for work which has been left.They will manage behaviour and promote a positive working atmosphere within the classroom. They will also provide administrative support to the wider school as and when required.
What the school offers its staff
As a cover supervisor you will work 30 hours per week over 5 days (6 hours a day) and will be required to supervise whole classes and groups of students when the classroom teacher is not available.
