What skills and experience we're looking for

Working pattern: Term time plus inset days (39 weeks)Hours: 31.67 hours per week, Monday- Friday 0815-1515 (40 min break)Actual starting salary (calculated pro rata): £18,866 per annum

Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments

We are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor who, in the absence of the Class Teacher can cover lessons across a wide range of subjects. This includes delivering lessons in accordance with the work set by the Teacher/Subject Leader and also providing support for the SEN team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a drive for excellence and a desire to deliver lessons of an outstanding quality
  • is highly organised, motivated and committed to the role
  • has experience working in teaching or in providing support in the classroom
  • is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high level of communication both internally and externally
  • is flexible to the changing demands of the role
  • is able to build positive working relationships with students
  • has enthusiasm, presence and authority who can deliver consistently
