Cover Supervisor job summary

Our innovative, child-led curriculum has been mentioned in TES, and Bill Lucas' "Zest for Learning" book and fosters curiosity and a love for exploration. As Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning for our primary school pupils by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

Through an array of engaging activities, we empower each child to thrive and become well-rounded individuals:

Museum Learning Team - provide ideas and resources to support lesson delivery. For example, we don’t just learn about archaeology, we conduct our own excavations

On-site Exhibitions - use our artefacts from the past to broaden our understanding of people and places

Off-site Trips - takes our learning outside the classroom to bring teaching to life

Community Initiatives - instill a strong sense of purpose and belonging
