What skills and experience we're looking for

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance and supervision of teaching staff implement agreed work programmes/Academy policy with individuals/group in or out of the classroom.

  • Supervise whole classes during short or medium-term absence of teachers.

  • Managing behaviour of students to ensure a constructive environment.

  • Respond to questions from students about process or procedures.

  • Provide feedback/marking to students and teacher in relation to progress and achievement.

  • Work with colleagues to support high standards of behaviour and attainment.

  • Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher.

  • Supervising examinations or undertaking invigilation as required.

  • Provide specific break and lunch time supervision.

  • Provide general clerical or administrative support for agreed activities etc.

This is a casual position.
