Luton Sixth Form College was established in 1966 as the first sixth form college in the Country. Cover Teachers (part/full time, hourly paid)
Required to teach the following A Level/L3 course areas:
- Business & IT: to teach A-Level/Level 3 Business and L3 ICT courses
- Creative Arts, English & Languages: to teach English, Languages and Creative Industries courses
- Social Sciences & Humanities: to teach Humanities, Law and Social Science courses
- STEM & Sport: to teach Maths, Sciences and Sport courses
ANNUAL SALARY:
Sixth Form College’s Teaching Pay Scale 1, £35.49, rising to scale 9, £54.84, including holiday and bank holiday pay. (This is the hourly equivalent of the annual full-time salary of £32,178 - £49,725).
To provide absence cover within the College as required, according to needs on an ad hoc basis, payable on 27th of each month following the submission of timesheets.
Please note that the hours claimed should be for contact hours only, as the rate is enhanced to include an element for non contact time, i.e. for planning, preparation and meetings.
