Creative iMedia Lead job summary

We are looking for a dynamic, Creative iMedia Lead who is apassionate teacher to join our Social Sciences and Vocational leadership team to help make a positive impact on the young people at our school. Social Sciences and Vocational Faculty is one of the largest faculties within the school, compromising of 14 teaching staff and 4 Heads of department. We make great progress with our students and would like to expand our team to ensure we continue to develop our students to the best of their ability. We are a welcoming team that strive to provide an inclusive and supportive environment for our students and staff alike.

The Leader of Creative media will oversee the strategic development, delivery, and evaluation of the Creative iMedia curriculum across KS4 (and KS3 if applicable). They will ensure high-quality teaching, effective assessment practice, and strong student outcomes. The role involves leading curriculum design, overseeing coursework and exam preparation, creating high-quality resources, and promoting the subject within school.

Working Time:

Full-time as specified within the current STPCD and to also work as a classroom teacher and form tutor.

Ensure that students make positive progress against prior attainment, by ensuring that teaching is consistently of a high quality, progress is monitored, and appropriate measures are taken to address any areas of underachievement.
