A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Colchester Teacher Training Consortium (CTTC) team as an Assistant Director. This vacancy has arisen due to expansion of CTTC’s ITT provision. The role will oversee the Primary undergraduate ITT route, delivered in partnership with the University of Suffolk, while also contributing to the delivery and development of the existing postgraduate ITT programme.

The Assistant Director will be an enthusiastic, dynamic and well-organised professional, leading the development of primary trainee teachers on the undergraduate course. The role will also provide a vital link between CTTC, the University of Suffolk and partner schools, ensuring consistency, alignment with CTTC values, and high-quality support.

The Assistant Director will be based at CTTC and will be required to travel to the University of Suffolk and placement schools as required.

The successful candidate will have experience in the primary sector and will be hard-working, passionate and reliable.
