Key purpose of the role:

  • Work with the CEO and Education Director to provide strategic and credible school improvement across the Trust.
  • Provide quality professional support for all schools within the Trust to ensure high standards in teaching and learning, leading to improved pupil outcomes.
  • Lead and inspire colleagues through responsive professional learning to ensure an ambitious curriculum for all based on a sound pedagogical approach.
  • To research latest developments in education and relay to colleagues at all levels across the Trust.
  • Lead through high expectation and aspiration; being prepared to challenge mediocrity and under-performance.
  • Work with existing excellent practitioners to empower and develop consistently strong teaching and learning through collaborative practice.
  • Keep abreast of current and innovative curriculum developments to ensure Focus-Trust schools are at the cutting edge of educational practice.
