An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Senior Leadership Team. The Christus Catholic Trust and the Local Governing Committee of this vibrant and successful school, wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Curriculum Leader to join our friendly and dedicated staff team.We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who has a proven track record of effective curriculum design which has led to improvements in pupils’ outcomes across the wider curriculum. This is a non class based role, but with a regular teaching commitment dependent upon needs of the school

We want our Curriculum Leader to:

  • Have a clear vision and strong commitment to Catholic education

  • Have a passion for education, making a difference to children's lives and who can lead by example

  • Have experience in curriculum development across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a range of subjects.

  • Know in detail the National Curriculum and Education Inspection Framework, and be able to disseminate this knowledge to school staff

  • Already be an expert curriculum leader, demonstrating the positive difference you can make to children’s knowledge and understanding both in your own class and across your school.

  • Use creativity, innovation and research to be successful and inspire others.

  • Have the ability to support, challenge and inspire the children and staff, encouraging them to achieve their potential through the promotion of outstanding teaching and learning practise

  • Have a positive and proactive approach

  • Be an excellent communicator with a strong commitment to working in partnership with Parents and the Parish Community

  • Be passionately committed to safeguarding and the welfare and wellbeing of children and staff
