We are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for a Curriculum Leader - Computer Science to join our team at The Portsmouth Academy from September 2025.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Computer Science curriculum across key stages 3 and 4, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. You will monitor the effectiveness and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Computer Science education, and integrate these advancements into the curriculum.

As an inspiring leader, you will lead by example, and remain committed to achieving high standards. Additionally, for an exceptional candidate there is the possibility of taking on additional responsibilities around our digital strategy.

  • Be a qualified Teacher of Computer Science and able to deliver to KS3 & KS4
  • Be passionate about teaching and learning and transforming the life chances of our students
  • Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
  • High expectations for yourself and the students to ensure that all achieve their very best
  • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools
