What skills and experience we're looking for

For September 2025, or earlier for the right candidate, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational Curriculum Leader of Computing. This is an exciting time in the department’s development, providing a great opportunity to enhance teaching practice and implement a Computing curriculum that empowers and inspires our students. The successful candidate will be an experienced practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning.

Applicants will:

  • Be passionate about teaching and encouraging students to foster a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
  • Be optimistic and committed to establishing high expectations.
  • Have proven ability to raise levels of progress and attainment with all students in both key stages.
  • Be an advocate of all students feeling valued, safe and happy.
  • Value the importance of professional learning, with experience of developing the potential of other teachers as well as being committed to develop their own leadership potential.
