Curriculum Leader for Music

As Curriculum Leader for Music, you will provide strong, visible leadership that ensures consistently high standards of teaching, learning and student progress. You will be responsible for curriculum design, quality assurance, staff development and the continued growth of a rich extra-curricular offer that raises the profile of Music across the school.

You will work closely with your designated SLT Line Manager, the Headteacher and Strategic Leadership Team, Key Stage Achievement Leaders, and colleagues across the school to secure outstanding outcomes for all students.

We are looking for a leader who:

  • Has a proven track record of strong classroom practice and raising achievement.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead, inspire and develop others.
  • Is passionate about inclusive Music education and enrichment.
  • Has high expectations and a relentless focus on student progress.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
